Info
Meridian from Adonis Tsilimparis is a refreshing blend of Latin, Electronic, and Groove that entices and persuades your soul to listen on. The diversities in the first two tracks alone would keep anyone listening for more.
"Lite FM" the first track starts with a spectrum of sounds and beats that will immediately grab your attention and as each instrument comes into its own groove other sounds are added back in. This instrumental piece only sets the stage for what's to follow! Absolutely wonderful production and final mix is represented from square (track) one. As "Red Lotus Opening" begins a whole new feel is exposed. The very laid back sway of the Latin style acoustic guitar and soulful vocals of Yvonne Thomas combined with additional instrumentation of a flute and a clean electric guitar add even more to the overall ambiance. "One by One" turns you around to a Dave Mathews Band style acoustic rock with all the precision and punctuation of even the most seasoned of veterans in the music world.
Through the remainder of the CD the "Santana groove" prevails but is continually being added to and improved upon with a unique variety of other sounds, styles, and feelings. If you like Santana, The Chemical Brothers, or any thing with a danceable beat I highly recommend this CD.
