Info
Amanda Sena, now 18, was born in Chicago, Illinois. At an early age she
became fascinated with music. She began piano lessons at age 8, dance at 9,
voice at 12, guitar at 13, and drums at 15. Amanda has performed at many
different venues, some being Schaumburg Fest, Darien Fest, Diamond Fest,
Flatlanders, The Hunt Club, Bridge Night Club, etc.
Her first attempt at recording was when her parents bought her a 4-track
portastudio at age 14 which she worked with every night in the basement.
Amanda mentioned to her guitar instructor one day that she would like to
record a demo. She eventually began to take lessons with John Kozlick, the
owner of the Music Loft in Lyons. After Kozlick heard the songs and Amanda's
versatile voice, he suggested a full-length CD. This recording process began
at age 17. When asked what her music is about, Amanda responds "All That I
Am."
